Firstly, Kratom comes from a leaf of a tropical tree that is grown is Southeast Asia. Usually sold as a green powder in packets labeled "not for human consumption" or as an extract, Kratom is a closely monitored botanical by the U.S. Department of Health.

The scientific name for Kratom is "Mitragyna Speciosa".

How do people use Kratom?

Most people take kratom as a capsule pill, powder or extract. Some individuals chew on kratom leaves or brew the dried or powdered leaves as a tea. Sometimes the leaves are smoked or eaten in food.
